Flyer Thumbnails

Below are my three thumbnails for the Flyer Project. While rough in style, they capture the essence of the images I am attempting to create.

Thumbnail 1 will have the graphic of a silhouetted, expectant Black mother on the left. Strong text with a call to action in the center, and on the right will be a positive pregnancy test placed vertically to also symbolize an exclamation mark. At the bottom of the flyer will be a list of various supporting organizations.

Thumbnail 2 will have 4 graphics of organizations, that support the cause being discussed, on the two sides. In the middle will be the call to action, and the graphic at the bottom of an EKG flatlining.

Thumbnail 3 will have 2 supporting facts on either side of the flyer, to bring attention the centralized call to action. This will be above a graphic of a mother reaching out to her child with a heartbeat in the center connecting the two. At the bottom will be links to organizations that support the matter at hand.

Comments

  1. Thumbnail #1 enhances the header with the graphic of an actual stake. The silhouette of a pregnant women will draw emotion from the potential viewer and is strong.
Thumbnail #2 "Black Maternal Health" is not something a normal headline would depict, so this header is special and should be emphasized against the rest of the graphics included. The "here's how you can help" may not need to be included, instead a hash tag along a picture would entice the audience to look into the matter further.
Thumbnail #3 with the graphics of the two arms being separated shows the disconnect in health care for black women and the essential topic of all the thumbnails. The statement that their health is at risk is an important headline that would draw attention.
